What I’m Doing to Prepare my Students for the AP Literature Exam
The three essay types that you will be asked to write are: poetry analysis, prose analysis, and a literary argument. For each essay that you write, it is my suggestion that you annotate the prompt. Take about 25 minutes to write the essay. Twenty-five minutes is sufficient time to produce all of the writing needed for a good score.
