Become a skilled, ethical, and respectful doctor of physical therapy with a commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning. The professional courses meet on eight alternate weekends per trimester with each instructional weekend including full days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The four full-time clinical experiences, totaling 36 weeks, are scheduled Monday through Friday. The weekend format allows students to continue part-time employment, to maintain family responsibilities, and to pursue other interests. Students are cautioned, however, that long work hours are generally incompatible with success in the program, which does require extensive study time. Our past experience has been that students who work more than 20 hours per week on a regular basis had difficulty in meeting the rigorous demands of this program.
Give Now. Our mission is to develop and sustain a diverse student body and representative profession. We made this decision in response to evidence that requiring GRE scores may present a barrier to our goal of attracting the best candidates for our DPT program. We welcome prospective students from a variety of backgrounds.
