My plan to improve my health and fitness is to try my best to stay consistent with my exercise and meal plan. Being consistent in any plan is very important because it allows you not to be so strict with yourself and teaches you how to do things in moderation. I always find that if I jump into any meal plan or exercise plan too quickly, I never follow through with it. Therefore, my goal is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and I can do this by consistently eating healthier and exercising more regularly.

I have tried fad diets and exercising, and yes, they did work for certain periods of time, but in the end the weight came back. Jogging in the summer and spring turned into waiting through the fall and the winter, and during that time we tend to put pounds on rather then shed them.
I dance because it brings back memories of when I was a child. Dancing with my aunt was a very fun family bonding activity that none of my other relatives can relate to me. With dancing I realize that I can express my emotions; when I am sad, angry, happy, frustrated, etc. Instead of taking my anger on people I can express it through dancing.
Zumba in not only a dance but also an aerobic exercise that includes moving very fast with energetic music. This style of dance requires front to back, side to side movement and sudden turning etc. These movements put much pressure on your feet.
