This report examines theories and research on driver behavioral adaptation in light of advanced driver assistance systems that support driving tasks formerly managed exclusively by the driver. In this literature review, theories of driver behavioral adaptation BA are examined for the insight they can provide into how drivers will use advanced driver assistance systems ADAS. Such systems are designed to support driving tasks formerly managed exclusively by the drivers themselves. How drivers react to this assistance will depend on the accuracy of their understanding or mental model of the functions and capabilities of a particular ADAS. This may happen when an ADAS has functional limits that are reached only infrequently, and that are therefore difficult for a driver to notice and understand.

Network Foundation for Command and Control C2 Systems: Literature Review Abstract: We review the command and control C2 literature to develop a comprehensive understanding of C2 systems and identify network evaluation methods. C2 is the recursive process of sharing the intent of decision-makers across organizations, turning intent into action, monitoring success, and adjusting goals to meet changing needs. Although substantial C2 research exists, the literature remains isolated by application context, and advances are rarely integrated.

A systematic literature review is one of the types of literature review that aims to summarize all existing information about a phenomenon in an impartial and complete manner. In contrast to the non-systematic process, the systematic review is done in a formal and meticulous manner. This means that we must follow the plan defined in the review protocol which, among other things, establishes a well-defined sequence of steps.
