A large, European power plant required an abundant water source with subsequent treatment technology that could reliably meet stringent water quality requirements. A nearby river was chosen as the water source, but that water experienced seasonal variation , and needed a treatment solution. Mobile water treatment containers were delivered quickly , enabling the power plant to meet their water quality needs. A Colombian oilfield with higher-than-average amounts of produced water turned to Fluence for a solution that would purify the water for reuse in irrigation. Fluence addressed an increasingly severe water shortage in the city of Limassol in Cyprus by building a containerized brackish water reverse osmosis desalination plant. An Israeli solar power plant wanted to reduce fresh water use.
