Adjusting to college writing I have had some difficulty adjusting to college writing but some new areas of strength in my typing are: I am getting better with my transition and I did a better decent job with my conclusion but I still have more weaknesses than strengths and some weaknesses of mine are using too many fragments and moving on from thoughts without completing them. My only strength that was obvious on my previous paper was transitioning from one statement to the other using. And yes, the last eight weeks have definitely been a challenge intellectually in IDS After the first two weeks of school, I seriously questioned why I would go back to school at fifty-one years of age for personal satisfaction. My rhetorical analysis essay, persuasive essay, and reflective analysis essay were all very different from each other in how I approached them and felt about them, but each one helped me grow as a writer in different ways.

It will be expounded and distinguish Reflection in action and Reflection on action.
While registering for a college-level course, last year, I questioned how difficult the class would be. I had taken a course the previous semester that had covered the basics in business and economy, yet this would be the first course in English—a topic that I had been told, on many occasions, that I excelled in. Unfortunately, it was not so. I struggled through several of the assignments.
Although the focus of the lessons is for college level writing, they will help to develop the basic skills needed to brainstorm, organise, draft and write down good quality essays for the on-stage work.
