So we tend to ignore it and focus on something more fun instead. But then, before we realize, a project that at first seemed manageable now appears next to impossible to complete. Even if you think you work well under stress and pressure in college, you probably still feel the overwhelming sense of anxiety that accompanies procrastination, whether or not you meet that looming deadline. But if you want to break your procrastination habit, you can.
If so, how do you combat this feeling to get your work done quickly while making it well done? The only class where this really happens is Spanish III, and the homework in that class is busywork that makes up an insignificant portion of the grade, though, so I can afford not to do it. Don't do it, and accept the consequences, which could be not at all to your liking. Just don't complain, at that point, about low grades, mediocre rec letters from your teachers, and college rejections. Not that all that will come from not doing one or two homework assignments, but your attitude, at the moment, is pretty lousy.
There are too many distracting things out there in the modern world. Technology is commonly blamed for it, and for a good reason, but it is not its fault singlehandedly. So probably if we can pinpoint factors that make students distracted we can find solutions for them. It is true that study loads are growing constantly, tempting things abound everywhere, students are encouraged to socialize and make friends but have little time to do it, they want relationships but struggle to start them, and so on and so force.
Homework is easy with expert tips and advice. And even easier when you have an expert to do it for you. Personally, there is nothing I hate in my academic life than having to spent several sleepless nights doing homework. The worst bit about this is when I find myself not scoring the grade that I desired.
