Over the years, Schulich has been focusing hard on creating as diverse a class profile as possible.
Schulich offers 18 specializations. Among them, which are the top 3 in popularity? When can students start their specialization? Students choose their electives and specializations in the 2nd year of the program and have the opportunity to specialize in up to two areas. Many of our students combine Marketing with Strategy, or Finance and Strategy for example.
This interview provides insight into the MBA program, life at the Schulich School of Business, and career opportunities available to graduates of the program. Imran: From an Academic perspective, both programs are the same because Year 1 of the program, whether done in Canada or in India only covers core courses, and is taught by Schulich faculty at both campuses, so it is exactly the same. Imran: Yes Schulich students that complete Year 1 in India have to travel to Toronto for Year 2, and they choose electives based on their own interests and goals, along with all other Schulich students in Year 2. GyanOne: What are some of the top reasons that students choose the Schulich in India program instead of the Toronto program? Imran: Students in India form their own clubs and plan their own activities.
